Individual Psychological Counselling (50 Minutes)
Telehealth across all Australian states and territories
Consultations are typically scheduled for 50 minutes. During our work together, we discuss what is currently troubling you, explore contributing factors, and establish collaborative strategies to support your wellbeing.
Appointments are conducted using secure, Australian-standard video telehealth software. You will receive a secure video consultation link prior to each scheduled consultation.
Common Focus Areas
Low Mood & Depression
Navigating periods of diminished motivation, persistent low vitality, changes in sleep or appetite, and feelings of discouragement.
Anxiety, Worry & Stress
Working with ongoing tension, social or situational anxiety, intrusive worries, panic sensations, and physical manifestations of stress.
Burnout and life transitions
Support with sustained stress, competing demands and changes in work, relationships or life circumstances, with space to explore priorities, adjustment and practical ways forward.
Men’s mental health
A space for men to discuss stress, mood, relationships, identity and the pressures of everyday life, and explore ways of responding that fit their circumstances and values.
Relationship Dynamics & Boundaries
Understanding interpersonal patterns, establishing clear personal boundaries, and improving communication with family, partners, or peers.
Grief, Loss & Bereavement
Providing a compassionate space to process the death of a loved one, the loss of health, life roles, or unexpected life disruption.
Assessment and treatment planning
Where clinically appropriate, standardised psychological questionnaires may be used to inform assessment, monitoring and treatment planning. The use of any assessment tool is considered in relation to your individual circumstances and discussed as part of the clinical process.
Service Suitability Information
While telehealth offers flexibility for many individuals, it is not suitable for all psychological presentations. If you are experiencing active suicidal ideation with immediate intent, unmanaged psychosis, severe substance withdrawal, or active risk to self or others, an in-person, multidisciplinary health team or crisis hospital service is recommended.
Suitability for telehealth is evaluated during the initial consultation and reassessed as necessary to ensure client safety.
